2021 Anyhow Blanc, Anderson Valley, Pennyroyal Farm

2021 Anyhow Blanc, Anderson Valley

Regular price $29.00

The Anyhow was a well-known saloon established between Boonville and Yorkville after a dry law had pushed alcohol consumption outside the local school district. Its name reflected the determination of horners “to have it anyhow.” This attitude has been continued with the winemakers in our region -- especially when harvests can be affected by many external stressors like a pandemic, wildfire smoke, and drought. This union of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc is a toast to “making the most of it.” With a rich mouthfeel of yeast and slate, zippy acidity, aromas of lemon verbena and sweetgrass, and flavors of grapefruit and Honeycrisp apple, this sunny blend has become a culinary darling! We find its bright versatility equally matched with our fresh chèvre, Laychee.
