2024 Sauvignon Blanc, Anderson Valley
Winemaker Sarah recollected that the grape harvest 2024 was remarkably “short and sweet!” A late summer heatwave caused a quick picking of ripe, large berries. After picking, pressing, and a cold fermentation, the bright fruit is preserved, which creates an elegant balance with its natural acidity and roundness. Our oak maturation program added complexity to the aromas, making this Sauvignon Blanc refreshing and enjoyable. The resulting wine has a sweet nose of citrus blossom, a generous mouthfeel with lively notes of ruby grapefruit and white peach, and ends with a crisp, clean finish.
