The Monty In Vineyard block boasts the most diverse soil composition at our Boonville estate, setting the stage for reserve designation. While its rocky nature may not be suited for a baseball field or vegetable garden, it proves to be a home run for cultivating vines, resulting in wines with rich, concentrated flavors. The forthcoming 2022 vintage is a perfect pitch, exuding bold flavors and a delightful basketweave texture. Upon pouring in a glass, an enticing bouquet of pomegranate, tangy currant, and fragrant lilac. On the palate, succulent dark cherry notes are complemented by hints of pennyroyal mint and black olive, culminating in a long, round finish. This heavy-hitting wine pairs superbly with our MVP of tommes, our Boont Corners Vintage.
