With its rich and generous mouthfeel, our Sauvignon Blanc is crafted in a soft, approachable style. For four months, maturation in oak ovals provides a supple roundness to the varietal’s bright acidity and helps preserve its golden aroma of sencha tea. Notes of honeydew, tarragon, and white pepper flavors make it a choice pairing with a fresh chèvre-like style, like our Laychee.
FROM THE VINEYARD
The harvest date for Sauvignon Blanc was marked in collective history as the day "California’s skies turned orange" and in our own as "all fruit was picked in one night!" For a large cluster variety, our vines decided, naturally, that with variable cluster counts they’d be a modest crop and not a heavy burden. Fortunately, what little they did produce is still bright and Sauvy, just like the future.
