2019 Pinot Noir, Anderson Valley

Our 2019 grape harvest was early due to the impact of late spring rains – experienced by many who attended May’s Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival to find a stream flowing through its center. True to its Anderson Valley origin, this Pinot Noir is medium garnet in the glass with flavors of Santa Rosa plum and black currant complementing the spicy aromas of clove and cinnamon with a hint of lavender.  Composed of 29% whole clusters and 25% late harvest grapes, this wine displays a delicate tannin structure with plenty of bright acidity and can be enjoyed on its own. This wine drinks well right now, but its aging potential will continually make each bottle opening a special occasion.
