The Anyhow was a well-known saloon established between Boonville and Yorkville after a dry-law had pushed alcohol consumption outside the local school district. Its name reflected the determination of horners “to have it anyhow.” Very much this attitude has been prevailed by the winemakers in our region, and this unique blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc is a toast to “making the most of it.” With a satin mouthfeel, peppy acidity, and notes of lemon zest, shortbread, and rosemary, this balanced blend has easily become a culinary favorite for pairing with many garden-fresh dishes. We find its versatility equally matched with our fresh chèvre, Laychee.
