2022 Blanc de Blancs, Anderson Valley

Vineyards and orchards have been growing side by side in Anderson Valley for nearly 150 years. From a few vistas at the home ranch, Navarro Vineyards, you can see the closest neighbor, the historic Gowan’s Cider Farm, and their expansive apple orchards. The vineyard block, which grows Chardonnay Clone 548, is commonly known as “Apple Field” and serves as the base for this 100% Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine. A perfect harmony of floral, fruity, and mineral notes, its fine bubbles rise to form a lively, delicate mousse, lifting aromas of fresh green apple from the glass. Notes of Asian pear and bright lemon evolve on the palate to a rich, fresh-baked brioche. Beautifully crisp and dry, it’s one to savor leisurely or celebrate wholly. We love to indulge in a decadent sip’n’nibble when paired with our Boont Corners Reserve tomme.
